Misery Men, Cat With Nine Lives

Somehow I ran into a band called “Dudes of Misery” which featured Snow Bud bassist Nathan Jorg. Nathan is among Chris’ backstabbing friends, sad to say, being as they have played together since the early 1990s. I saw that Dudes of Misery – sounds like a play on “Turds of Misery” – had done a memorial tribute to drummer Sam Henry. I saw they were a spin off of another band called Misery Men. I saw some of Misery Men’s videos. I spent a bit of time thinking about this one

By way of background, I had a dream in 2020 that Sam Henry was in danger from the cancer causing radiation beams that are killing so many musicians, and others. The day after I had the dream, Sam called for Chris and for some reason I picked it up – maybe Chris asked me to answer. I spoke to Sam for a moment and he said goodbye to me in this weird final way that people sometimes do, like they expect me to die. I have been fully aware that there have been murder plots against us, I just didn’t know until after Chris was already gone that the process involved (somehow, I still don’t know the details) reporting to the FBI, but that these reports are financed, and people say and do what financiers want them to say or do. They twist truth, make ups salacious stories, etc. The ultimate goal is to get people killed. And the FBI/CIA goes along with this, probably because it’s their idea in the first place, and/or because they too are getting paid for taking out certain people and not others.

This is a crime covered up in no small part by its audacity. If you don’t already know this is going on, you probably wouldn’t believe it. And even if you do know it’s going on, you are unlikely to draw attention to it, because of the nature of it (retaliatory lies leading to cancer) and who is involved (the Justice Department and the entire health care system).

When I watch the video above, I feel pretty certain that the guys making the video – everyone but Sam – knew Sam was on his way out. One of the things going on in the video is they seem to be pointing to the structure of the crime, giving hints about the system that is being protected through these covert cancer murders.

This video came out Sept 10, 2021. Chris had died four months earlier, on May 9, and to my understanding, Sam did not yet know he had cancer. He would die in February, five months later.

I didn’t see the video until about a week ago, after Sam was already gone, but I could tell from the first frame, this was about murdering Sam. “Out front, let’s get Sam!” in front of a big eye (surveillance symbol). This imagery also seems to link to imagry in the 1992 Pearl Jam video “Jeremy” about a boy who shoots up his school

Next you see this guy who seems to be in the back room of a home or record store, listening to this Napalm Beach album, Fire, Air, and Water (where the song was originally published). Beneath his stereo are two boxes that say RUSH on them.

Flash to this image of their band with Chris and Sam in the middle. One photo has a pot plant in it. Although the song is a Napalm Beach song, it’s increasingly clear that the band Snow Bud was/is especially fetishized. Much of the video takes place at the grave of Andrew Loomis who played drums with Snow Bud as well as with Dead Moon who are also heavily referenced in this video. The bassist of this band, Kelly Halliburton, essentially became Andrew Loomis’ replacement when Dead Moon became Pierced Arrows, and Sam played drums for Halliburton’s other band, Don’t. All of the guys in this band, Misery Men, have been playing music in Portland since the 1990s I think.

There’s a focus on this poster, maybe in part because of the red and white colors which seem to be linked to assassinations, but the way the camera moves, seems to be about to focus in on the name Mudhoney.

The poster is from 1989 and Mudhoney didn’t actually play on this bill …

Camera moves from the poster to this stack of cassette tapes

A view of the posters on the wall – Bad Religion (over Hitler’s face) at La Luna, Black Flag at Starry Night, Devo, Faith No More, Alice In Chains, Tad… Motörhead and Megadeath – Dead Moon on the door. The Napalm Beach album he’s listening to is linked to Flying Heart Records. My contention is all the contracts with this label are fraudulent, because they were made on behalf of outside interests specifically in order to bury the band. Obviously Chris didn’t know this.

This is part of the reason why Chris and Sam were murdered. The desire to get away with, and continue, a global crime and to maintain a global crime network.

A poster for Napalm Beach at the Met, probably from 1981 or 82. Dante’s appears later in the video, it is the same building as the Met. The Met was an all ages club, and in those years it was Courtney Love’s stomping ground.

You see a lot of these mirror reflections which I think refers to presenting or showing someone backwards, or even as the opposite of what they are. False portrayals linked to occult “twin” assassinations by FBI/CIA.

The cat is shown. I think that part of the reason for choosing the song (and showing the cat) has to do with how my cat Roxy is being tortured as a means to punish and traumatize me. And that too is linked to these false stories.

He’s wearing a t-shirt featuring a design taken from Snow Bud and the Flower People original 1986 cassette. (I scanned the cassette cover to make the design for these shirts back in 2010.) The names here are real guys but it also seems to refer to the crime structure – a vortex conductor might be the person who arranges set ups and scripts, creating a vortex to drop people into. If everyone reports that one of their community members is doing terrible things, it must be true, right? Why would so many people (driving new cars and building new homes) lie?

The vinyl dictator probably has to do with how people “sell their souls” to make a record. If you want a record deal or music video, you just need to file some nasty reports with the FBI.

As he walks out, you see a bunch of cars and a brand new wooden fence next door, all of which are rewards people get for filling nasty files with the FBI.

The next scene is at the Candlelight, a bar and Chinese restaurant in our neighborhood. This is where they find Sam. Two masked men walk into the bar and say “come on, let’s get out of here.”

It’s a death symbol. Doubles, twins, the masks.

Death is minimized by this occult group as something like going to another location.

From this point, there’s all these quick cuts of locations cycling between Dante’s Inferno, a bar and music venue; Mary’s Club, a stripper bar (Courtney Love worked there), and Andrew Loomis’ gravesite

Mastered by Tad Doyle. The crow is drinking from a Benson bubbler. This is Dante’s.

Music Millennium Record store

At the end of the video, Sam helps to steal his own record.

Part of what’s going on, possibly, is Flying Heart Records says they don’t make any money, so there are no royalties being paid. But I think that people have simply been trained not to take Chris’ music or rights or professional aspirations seriously. His music is listened to in back rooms, like some kind of private ritual.

I have said before that the same community who helps get people killed are the ones creating memorial shows.

But what puzzled me most about this video was Chris’ little brother Jeremy commented on it.

I don’t understand any of this.

Sam was still alive when he made this comment. One thing I do know is Chris did not like the way Andrew’s gravesite was being treated like a party site.

I guess my first thought was “did you even know your brother?”

And after that I feel like I don’t believe a word he says. I don’t think he cares what Chris felt or thought. And I don’t think he believes in heaven, either.

Charles Cross and Everett True

Two books that I have and tend to go back to fairly frequently for references are Everett True’s Nirvana – The True Story (2006) and Charles Cross’ Cobain Unseen (2008). Once I understood what kind of impact Chris Newman and Napalm Beach had musically in Portland and Seattle, I realized there was something really wrong, in that almost without exception, Newman’s work is omitted from histories. Everett True’s book is an example of that. A few months ago I realized that a page was missing from the book, specifically the index page which would have had a reference to Napalm Beach, had Napalm Beach not been blacklisted. Then, a few days ago, I found the page – someone had torn it out of the Everett True book, and put it inside the Charles Cross book, here.

Everett True - Nirvana, True Story - index page 625 shoved inside Charles Cross - Cobain Unseen - page 66 - an entry about when Nirvana begins to eclipse more senior bands like the Melvins, late 1990

Sub Pop Sundays

Untouchables/Napalm Beach played shows at Wrex going back to at least March 1981. Wrex closed in March 1982 and Vogue opened in the same location January 1983. (source: https://threebandsthreebucks.blogspot.com/2018/02/wrex-1980-81.html )

Claudia Gehrke aka Claudia Lemon was the booking agent, and invited Chris and Napalm Beach to play her 27th birthday party on August 25, 1987. Supporting Napalm Beach was H-Hour who must have just arrived from Idaho. Tad Doyle who later fronted TAD, played drums. And then there was Bundy Creature. The following year, August 26, 1988 Chris’ side project Snow Bud and the Flower People headlined again for Claudia’s 28th birthday, this time at Squid Row.

Sub Pop Sundays seems to have begun on September 13, 1987 – 19 days after Claudia’s 27th birthday. According to something she wrote on Facebook, she let the Sub Pop guys (presumably Bruce and/or Jonathan) book whom ever they wanted on those nights. Sub Pop Sundays seem to have been once a month, ending on June 27, 1988. This, again, is according to the 3band3bucks website. But June 27, 1988 was a Monday, not a Sunday, and 3bands3bucks does not show a band for that date, just “Sub Pop Monday.” I have tried to figure out who, if anyone, played on this date, so far without success.

For context, here is the full calendar as listed on 3bands3bucks from June 1988

Vogue – June 1988
1 – The Beatnigs (SF), Skin Yard
6 – Jayne County (NY), Fastbacks
7 – Pop Defect (LA), Kristen Barry
8 – Feast, Lethal Gospel
13 – The Pink Slips
14 – Accused, Derelicts
15 – Bundle Of Hiss, Nirvana
20 – Ash
21 – The Option, The Groove
22 – Catbutt, Babyteeth
27 – Sub Pop Monday w/….
28 – Action Buddie, URU
29 – Napalm Beach (PDX), Coffin Break

And here are all the listed Sub Pop Sundays bands

September 13 – Sub Pop Sunday w/Swallow
October 25 – Sub Pop Sunday w/Chemistry Set
December 27 – Sub Pop Sunday w/Dead Moon

Sub Pop Sundays 1988
January 31 – Sub Pop Sunday w/ My Beerdrunk Soul Is Sadder Than All The Dead Christmas Trees In The World
February 28 – Sub Pop Sunday w/ Snow Bud & The Flower People
March 27 – Sub Pop Sunday w/Doll Squad
April 24 – Sub Pop Sunday w/Nirvana
May 28 – Subpop Sunday w/The Derelicts
June 27 – Sub Pop Monday w/…

Aside from June, the only month missing is November 1987. Maybe it’s missing or maybe it didn’t happen. Of the nine Sub Pop Sundays listed, two are headlined by Portland bands – Dead Moon and Snow Bud and the Flower People. Both those bands were three-piece bands. There was a common member in both of those bands, drummer Andrew Loomis. Of those two bands (five people), only one person survives today, and that’s Toody from Dead Moon. Everyone else has died of cancer. None of them lived to see their 70th birthday. Andrew didn’t live to see his 60th. He died in 2016 at age 54, with his brother Matt dying four years later at age 55. Chris and Sam died less than a year apart. All of cancer.

It’s hard, at least for me, not to look at all these Sub Pop Sundays band line ups and see something like a storyline. Because there’s another thing about the calendar and that’s that last date, June 27, 1988. That’s the date that Bret Bowman was hit by a car.

Bret was my neighbor. He was about 2 1/2 years older than me. I’d known him since we were both young children. In June 1988 I was living in St Paul, Minnesota and it seems like Mike Payne was back and forth between Humboldt County (where we had lived) and St Paul. Bret had been hit while walking along Highway 101 in Crescent City, California. He was with a schoolmate of ours named Jimmy Shaw. They were high on L.S.D. They were on their way to Oregon Country Fair (aka “the hippie fair”) where they had planned to meet up with another classmate of ours named Scott Gear. Bret struggled to survive, and ended up in a coma for more than a decade. This is where it gets very confusing to me because no one has ever been fully honest with me about any of this. Bret’s obituary states that he was in a coma for 16 1/2 years. I had heard rumors that he came out of the coma and died by suicide. I tried to get more information but people would at first seem receptive, then suddenly not want to talk about it. Also, while Bret was alive, in this long term coma – something that is very unusual, by the way – I never could get good information about where he was, nor did I understand his condition. I thought he was brain dead. A “vegetable” they sometimes called it back then. Everyone around me who had known Bret pushed that idea, that he was “gone” – but I now think they knew better and were working from a script or an agenda.

I had a dream relating to Bret exactly one year before he was hit, and I had ominous dreams about Bret in weeks and months before he was hit, and I dreamt about Bret the night before he was hit. Being as I was in Minnesota, I didn’t find out about the incident until later – maybe a couple of weeks later.

Last time I spoke with Jimmy via Facebook, he was living in Washington State and I asked him what kind of acid did they do and he said “please don’t ask me anymore questions about Bret.”

Jimmy and Scott might be one year older than me. It seems like Jimmy befriended me first, then Bret later. I never really was friends with Scott, but I knew who he was. He seems to have gotten a job with Sub Pop sometime that same year, 1988.

The Oregon Country Fair is potentially linked to Courtney Love’s family, or family connections.

Backlash – June 1989

“Welcome to Nirvana’s Nightmare”

In a recent entry, as an afterthought, I published a photo from the a copy of Backlash. And then it occurred to me that there is more to see here.

Backlash was a rock-oriented Seattle paper published between 1987 and 1991. According to their Facebook page “Dawn Anderson also published Backfire, 1983-84, and another zine called Backfire in 1997-2003.”

Several years ago, we were gifted an original copy of the June 1989 Backlash. It is yet another possession that seems to have vanished. However, I still had some scans hidden away in nooks and crannies, somehow avoiding the (FBI) wiping machine. I guess now is as good a time as any to publish them – I’m publishing here everything I have left. This copy of Backlash was supposed to be focused entirely on Oregon music, and I think that aside from paid advertisements, the Oregon focus was maintained throughout most of the magazine, with the exception of an review of Nirvana’s first album, Bleach. I noticed this anomaly from the beginning, but now I’m beginning to wonder if there’s something meaningful behind it. Look at which band is on the cover.

“At this point in time, Simon wanted me to mention that all old Napalm Beach bass players move to Seattle and get married.”

To recap – I am alleging that both Kurt Cobain and Chris Newman were murdered via a system of malfeasance that includes set ups, lies, secret FBI files, and biomedical implants used to manipulate behaviors and create diseases including chronic diseases like chronic pain (Kurt) and asthma (Chris) and terminal diseases like cancer as well as terminal behaviors like suicide. And I’m also alleging that these murders are planned out long ahead of time. So therefore, one has to consider whether the choice to put The Obituaries on the newspaper cover was influenced in some way by these advance plans. The tricky thing about this, is the biomedical implants can be used to make people appear to do something deliberate that isn’t deliberate at all – but I suspect putting the Obituaries on the cover was a deliberate death reference. I suspect Dawn Anderson among others knew there was a plan to murder both Chris Newman and Kurt Cobain via the filing of false and defamatory reports to the FBI.

I have never met Backlash editor/publisher Dawn Anderson. My statements are entirely based on observations of patterns and in this case, inductive reasoning. In other words, I’m not just talking about this one edition of this one paper. I’m saying there seems to have been a pattern of implied threats around Kurt Cobain that (unlike Chris) he would have picked up on. I have thoughts and ideas about why this would be going on – basically, at this point I think the issue was something like the following

  1. Chris Newman was already marked by this community and others for destruction and death.
  2. Kurt Cobain knew this, and was against it. This is clear to me from his lyrics.
  3. Kurt Cobain was picked out at some point for rock stardom, where his rise would parallel Chris’ fall. I don’t know if he knew this or not, but I suspect at some point he did.
  4. Kurt Cobain was also marked out for death, but I don’t know when this happened, or what the reasoning was. (Usually there’s something you’re supposed to think, and hidden behind that, the actual reason.)

Likely the plans for murdering these two artists were mostly about control and profiteering – continuing a very destructive and profitable crime. To this end, finance was coming in from around the world. Sub Pop (as well as K Records) seems to have had a particular link to the UK record business.

A momentary reflection on the narrative and my research to date

Contrary to the narrative pushed so hard by nearly every medical provider and law enforcement officer I’ve had to interact with over the past decade or more, I don’t possess a set of “fixed beliefs” (delusional or otherwise). In fact, I’ve spent my whole life involved in developing research abilities. It’s the only way I’ve ever managed to achieve anything. I definitely did not have someone telling me what to do and handing out favors as a reward for obedience, not to mention malfeasance, thank God. I would find it very difficult to live with myself, were this true.

I backed off of writing about Chris’ history while he was alive because he was experiencing social and psychological pressure from family members and from trusted members of the community that he believed supported him, and this pressure made him uncomfortable. He didn’t like disapproval. The biomedical mind control technology in use seems to be really good at controlling certain things, and that includes “obsessive” or habitual behaviors (including those linked to addiction – but also things like training, guitar practice, etc) – and it includes pattern recognition. Chris was able to listen to a song once, hear the instrumentation and chords, and instantly play it on guitar – but he was literally unable to recognize what to me were very obvious patterns of unusual phenomena or malfeasance. When we came into conflict over these things he tended to get triggered and to revert to black and white thinking. He couldn’t see the reality of the situation. I don’t think the damage done by so many people promulgating and refusing to let go of a lie of this magnitude can be overstated. It is a big lie made up of millions of “little” lies.

Since I’ve come back to the project, there is a bit more information available, and certain things are coming increasingly into focus, and that includes that not only was I correct about Chris’ music being deliberately buried by what can accurately be called a well-financed global conspiracy – and this is increasingly supported by evidence – but that there were actually a number of people in our orbits who were targeted for destruction, and some of them, like Kurt Cobain, Elliott Smith, and Bret Bowman, were particularly significant.

At this point in the process, I have lots of information about Bret Bowman, and I know that there are links to Sub Pop. I have an increasingly solid grasp about Kurt Cobain, and Elliott Smith is coming into focus. With Kurt Cobain, there also seems to be a solid link to malfeasance by Sub Pop. With Elliott Smith, there may be a malfeasance link to Jackpot and Kill Rock Stars, but there also is a link between Elliott Smith and Sub Pop as well, in the form of a band called Crackerbash, and specifically founding member Sean Croghan.

Boo Frog’s drummer Doug Naish was also an original member of Crackerbash. His brother, Brad Naish, had played drums with the Wipers. Doug played with Chris from 2012 until the pandemic shuttered live music. Chris liked Doug’s reliability, his willingness to follow Chris’ musical direction, that he would help Chris with moving equipment, and the fact that he had a van. But it is clear to me that Doug was always deceptive and his intent was always destructive. He readily took part in a plot to destroy Boo Frog and to set Chris up in a situation where he could be manipulated and controlled.

After Chris died, Doug tried to keep his amplifier.
